SymCel launches the 'Back on track' initiative.
The initiative highlights the new intensified development and marketing efforts of the re-born company by launching a number of initiatives.

  • New website with more easily accessed information and a new profile

  • Reach out program to our existing and potential customers

  • Increased development program for scientific validation


SymCel has held a low profile during the last year. The global economics as well as personal aspects has forced SymCel to slow down the development speed. We are now pleased to announce that we are' back on track' and 'up to speed' and we are looking forward to an exiting 2010 with new customers and an increased development effort.

26th October 2009

Magnus Jansson joins the SymCel team as Director of Marketing & Sales. Dr Jansson has more than twenty years experience from various positions within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry. Dr Jansson most recently held a position as 'Field Scientist' at Sidec AB.

12th – 14th May 2009

SymCel participated in Forinvitox Forum, on "how to promote the commercial use of in vitro methods within the chemical and cosmetic industries, to achieve a more general use of alternative toxicity tests within the area of pharmaceutical testing, and how to increase the acceptance of in vitro methods by the authorities."

16th April 2009

SymCel participated in START Summit in St. Gallen, Switzerland as one of the companies to be presented in a table session to a group of entrepreneurs and students.

4th Dec 2008

SymCel participated in MedTech Day as one the fourteen promising MedTech companies present during the event. SymCel was presented with a short presentation on products and business plans, primarily aimed at investors from all over Europe and the United States.
